Why I Started Metric Tide – And What I’m Learning Along the Way
Starting a business is never simple — but launching Metric Tide felt like the right move after years spent helping big brands with digital marketing and CRM. I wanted to offer something different: straightforward, results-driven support for small businesses, startups, and tradespeople who often get left behind by agencies chasing retainers and buzzwords.
After two decades working in CRM, lifecycle marketing, and digital strategy, I noticed a gap. Small business owners were struggling to market themselves online. Not because they didn’t care — but because they were busy, unsure where to start, and sick of marketing jargon.

Here’s what I’ve learned in my first few months:
I’ll keep sharing the real story here — not just wins, but what it actually takes to grow a business like this. If you’re building something too, or you just want marketing that doesn’t give you a headache, you’re in the right place.
